The Inquiry is interested in the experiences of all nursing staff, but particularly those whose work brought them into contact with paediatrics, paediatric cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, intensive care and anaesthesia. Those who have information which they believe would be of value to the Inquiry can contact Inquiry staff in several ways:
Professor Ian Kennedy, Inquiry Chairman, said: "This is the largest ever Inquiry into the NHS. It is not just about Bristol but about the whole organisation and culture of the National Health Service. It is possible that there are people working in the NHS who want to get in touch but have not yet done so. We would encourage them to contact us. We are very keen to hear from staff, particularly nurses, who worked at the BRI during the period of our Inquiry (1984-1995). We will be in Bristol for the rest of the year and can be contacted at any time by anyone who feels he or she has something to say or has information for us to consider."
